Threaded Steel Rod 5/16 Inch Zinc Plated 18 TPI By 36 Inch Zinc Plated. Designed for hanging, connecting, clamping and supporting in plumbing, heating and electrical applications and other do-it-yourself projects. Consists of UNC coarse threads. Can be drilled, cut, heated, shaped. Meets ASTM A307 Grade A. Minimum tensile strength of 60 KSI. Not recommended for welding due to zinc plating. Safe working load is 1000 pounds.
