When used as the last feeding in the fall, Scotts® Lawn Pro® Fall Lawn Fertilizer* can strengthen your lawn, preparing it for the harsh realities of the winter months. This feeding also can help build up your lawn for a green-up in the spring. Before applying, mow the lawn. Apply to a dry lawn with a Scotts® broadcast, rotary, or drop spreader. When you have applied this fertilizer to the lawn, it should be watered-in to produce the best results. While this is a fertilizer specific to the needs of late fall grass, you can improve your lawn year-round with the Scotts® Value Priced Annual-Program®. When following that program, 4 to 6 weeks after applying the Early Fall Lawn Fertilizer you can apply Scotts® Lawn Pro® Fall Lawn Fertilizer to prepare your lawn for the winter months.
